Visiting Germany for tourism? Here's what you need to know about applying for a tourist visa.

What is a Visitor/Tourist Visa to Germany?

Germany grants a Tourist Visa as a Schengen Tourism Visa. For Nepali, it is required to have a Schengen Visa to stay a short time in Germany. Interestingly, there are almost 60 Schengen Countries which donā€™t require a Tourist Visa to travel in Germany.

People with only a Schengen Visa cannot study or work in Germany. They must have a Working Visa or Student Visa for working and studying respectively.
